Hello there one and all!
Beautiful being that has appeared on this page. I am happy to share with you my process of creating a song in all its many shapes.
From improvisation, creation to recording a finished product.
I had it in my heart to create a new song for you loveliness. I sat back, carried on with life and knew it would appear one day when it was ripe.
I had been travelling for a while and found myself in the refreshing town of Totnes to visit my friend. I ended up sleeping alone at a campsite. There was a wild storm. rain and rain and wind bashed against my tent, making me feel very alive. I awoke in the morning to bright sky's and a freshness that comes after a storm. The smell of something new an inspiration. I sat in my car with my little guitarlele and out came this freestyle song just for you guys. I
found the chords and off i was transported on a mystical adventure. Record button on and ready to go. Here i found the song or can i say the song found me.
Here is that initial track, it's a long 15 minute free flow.
Feel free to dip in and out of it. Just to see where it all began, go back to the roots. May we all go back to our roots.
After that initial meeting, the song stayed with me for some time. It changed and moved and grew and shrunk and i have loved having it as a companion.
I found a different version of the chorus and off i set to record it for you. I left the verse to be improvised on the track and actually its a very improvised track which i feel makes it feel incredibly alive and vibrant.
I have to say i have fallen in love with this song and i would like to release it as my first single. i have decided i will make a video for it and get it mastered in time and see how it will evolve even more.
